1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work

 

Course Overview

 

This course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is aimed at low risk areas such as offices and libraries etc. Subjects covered can be tailored to the clients specific requirements with sufficient notice.

Included in the price of this course: workbook; faceshield and a signed certificate valid for three years and recognised within the UK.

• What to do in an Emergency and The Unconscious Casualty

• Break

• Heart Attack and Resuscitation

• Lunch

• Asphyxia, Choking and Asthma

• Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations

• Shock, Bleeding and Wounds

• Break

• Seizures and Diabetes

• Burns and Scalds

• Fractures, Dislocations, Sprains and Strains

• AED

• Debrief and Close

The Instructor may vary the order of the contents of this course to suit the students and breaks may be given in addition to the above if required however this will extend the length of the course.
